IT Infrastructure Specialist
At Fagerhult, you get to be part of something bigger – a workplace where technology, sustainability, and people collaborate to create light that makes a real difference.
With 80 years of experience and a strong belief in the future, we combine stability with development, and we believe in the power of collaboration, curiosity, and a shared responsibility for the whole. We are now looking for another IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT team who wants to contribute, develop, and be part of our continued journey. Is that you? Keep reading!
Why you will thrive with us
With us, you have the space to influence, test new ideas, and contribute to a culture where curiosity is encouraged and collaboration is highly valued. We believe in the power of diversity – that a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives make us stronger and more innovative. Therefore, we welcome people of all ages and with different genders, backgrounds, and lifestyles.
We encourage learning, dialogue, and different perspectives, as we know that this leads to better decisions and more sustainable solutions over time. You will also have a present and engaged manager who believes in feedback, openness, and joint development. Here you get support and freedom in the same package – a climate where you can both grow and dare to grow.
About the position
As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you play a central role in ensuring a robust, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure. You work closely with the business and are a key person in both the daily operations and in the development of future IT environments.
You handle troubleshooting and cases escalated to second line, work systematically with documentation, and actively contribute with improvement suggestions. In close collaboration with the Infrastructure and Operations Manager, you participate in planning, follow-up, and development of the infrastructure area, as well as in the preparation of decision-making materials and priorities.
The role also includes a management responsibility for selected infrastructure services and platforms. Here you work long-term with development plans, roadmaps, and follow-up, always focusing on quality, security, and interaction with other parts of the organization.
In this role, you drive various projects and can, based on interest and experience, take a more active role in developing and driving new initiatives. There is also an opportunity to, together with your immediate manager, be responsible for developing strategy and goals for the implementation of services in Microsoft Azure as well as establishing and following up on cloud-related goals and KPIs.
Good to know
The position is a permanent employment at Fagerhults Belysning AB. You will be part of a larger IT team and report to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager. The location is in Fagerhult, with some opportunity for remote work.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in IT infrastructure and who is accustomed to working with operations, troubleshooting, and management of IT environments. You have a post-secondary education in IT or equivalent competence through work experience and previous experience in project management. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license and a car.
As a person, you are confident in yourself and enjoy working in a structured manner. You take responsibility for your tasks, communicate clearly, and value collaboration as highly as technical quality. You are curious, service-oriented, and responsible – a person who thrives where things happen. When challenges arise, you remain calm, prioritize wisely, and see opportunities for improvement. Together with the team, you are motivated to contribute to a strong delivery experience with high levels of knowledge, service, drive, and engagement. You thrive in an open atmosphere and want to live our values as a “Curious creator, committed together, to aim higher”. This is how we work, think, and grow – every day.
It is advantageous if you have experience working with cloud services and architecture related to cloud environments, for example, in the design, implementation, or further development of cloud-based solutions. Experience with modernization and development initiatives is also a plus, but not a requirement – we offer good opportunities to broaden and deepen your skills over time based on both interest and the needs of the business.
